Rodanthe’s newest bridge, the “Jug Handle”, will be completed soon for use sometime in mid-April. This 2.4 mile bridge will by-pass some of the most troublesome areas of NC 12 heading south. There will be a celebration day on April 9, 2022, where people can gather and walk, bike, or run across the bridge before it opens to traffic.
